Our Warranty

Thank you for your interest in the products and services of Derby Firelec Ltd, hereafter referred to as 'We'.

What do we cover?

Both our Limited and Extended Warranties cover any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, we will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

What will we do to correct problems?

If you are eligible for a replacement/repair under the warranty conditions and are still within the warranty period, the following applies:

  • we will repair the product, at no cost

  • repairs will be made using new parts

  • if repairs are not feasible, we will send you a brand new replacement

  • refunds can only be made within the returns period (14 days from date of receipt).

How long does the coverage last?

Customers who have registered for our 1 Year Limited Warranty here, will be covered for 12 months from the date of purchase of the product. Our Extended 2 Year Warranty can be purchased in addition to the 1 Year Limited Warranty giving a total of 3 Years of coverage.

Any replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product.

What does this limited warranty not cover?

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship

  • damage due to negligence or carelessness

  • damage due to unauthorised modification of the product

  • damage caused by a natural disaster

  • accidental damage
  • theft or loss of the product

What do you have to do?

To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.

Please remember:

  • if an inspection/replacement is arranged, send the product in it's original packaging. If this isn't possible, any packaging you use must be properly secured - we will not be responsible for any damage occurring in transit.

  • all documents and accessories that shipped with the product must be included in the package.
